The Third Game
It is the position of
the Central District Board that, in compliance with FSA
Rule C-3e, the third game, if needed, in any District
doubles tournament be 8 frames on each color (16 frames
total), regardless of score. The low line number will
begin the 3rd game on yellow. The color ledger board
will be adjusted so that Black leads out in the ninth
frame.
In singles tournaments the third game,
if needed, will be 6 frames on each color, regardless of
score, with the low line number starting on yellow and
the color ledger board being changed so Black leads out
in the 7th frame.
A host club may opt out of
this procedure by so stating prior to the tournament
draw.
